About Me
Ten years of patience.
One perfect look
I am a fine art photographer based in Asia, working with cats around the world for over a decade. My work has been recognized internationally and followed by more than 2.5 million people worldwide.
Every image I create starts with patience. I wait for the moment when the cat stops performing and simply is. Not the fur, not the pose. The presence behind the eyes.
I photograph cats the way others photograph people — waiting for the moment when the mask drops and something real appears. My studio is dark. My lights are dramatic. My subjects are Maine Coons, and they have never once done what I asked them to do. That is exactly why the photographs work.
The pieces in this shop bring that presence into your daily life. Art that lives on your wall, in your hands, around your home. Something to return to every day and still find something new in.
Shop the CollectionI don't photograph cats. I photograph the soul that lives behind their eyes. The ancient, indifferent, magnificent thing that humans have never fully understood and will never fully own.Robert Sijka
